Designer: Sue Shannon
Location: Aiken
This project was focused around an empty-nester couple who purchased a small ranch house on a beautiful large piece of land and enlisted a local Aiken architect to redesign and expand the home. The existing house footprint was mirrored as an addition, with a large central living, dining, and kitchen space to bridge the gap between the two structures.
This open-concept project encompassed assisting with the design and build process, all the way through selecting final furnishings and installation. This client’s willingness to jump outside the box allowed us to create a modern living space with a neutral base and incorporate bright pops of color for drama.
