These clients wanted a home that simultaneously reflected their love of art and design and their need for a relaxed and comfortable space for their family to grow and explore. The process of melding real life with real style centered around incorporating an incredible collection of art that represented every aspect of their lives.
From fine collected pieces they had invested in over the years, to their kids’ masterpieces, to their own artwork created prior to having four children to chase, to family heirloom fashion sketches from the 1930s and 1940s, to a frame Elton John Blue Eyes costume—this very personal collection transformed a beautiful design into a unique home that completely reflects the “cool factor” of this couple. The result is a home bursting with character and life and is a perfect blend of sophisticated modern and family comfort.
