Pantone Reveals Spring 2012 Color Report
When you work in the design industry, staying on top of the latest color trends is a must and we are now gaining some insight to the color trends for next year, as Pantone has released the Spring 2012 Color Report. Pantone, a global authority on color, surveys the prominent colors at New York Fashion Week each season to reveal the upcoming color trends that are expected to be most popular in fashion and interiors.
The Spring 2012 color palette from Pantone features a variety of colors, ranging from cheerful vivid hues to muted tones and pastels. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, spoke of the new color report in a press release, stating “Consumers look to spring for renewed energy, optimism and the promise of a brighter day. They have learned how color can help them alter a mood and provide the vitality and enthusiasm that enables them to experiment with new looks and color combinations.”
The Spring 2012 Color Report is called “Dance Into Spring 2012,” and after seeing these colors, we can see why. Take a look at these lovely hues!
