Inspired Design + Fine Southern Food
As part of our “Wine & Design” series, we partnered with Atlanta Chef Scott Serpas, of SERPAS TRUE FOOD, for an elegant evening of entertaining in the store. Chef Serpas served up some fantastic dishes, while our talented staff of designers provided ideas for all types of entertaining from ladies luncheons to chic cocktails. Below are a few of the elements we used to bring the evening together. We hope they inspire you to channel your inner-hostess extraordinaire!
Ladies Garden Luncheon
We started the design by hanging a garden chandelier filled with pots of flowers, greenery and hanging birds. Next we added Faux-Bois dinnerware in robin’s egg blue & cream. Delicate wire domes that look like nest accompany the stick bird nest tea lights. Pretty organza ribbon on the chairs and napkins finish the elegant motif.
Chef Serpas Menu: Ladies Garden Luncheon
First Course – Tuna tartar with green apples
Second Course – Jumbo Sea scallops with English pea risotto, panang curry
Dessert – Grapefruit upside-down cake with grapefruit glaze, burnt orange sauce, vanilla ice cream
Al Fresco Dining… at the Polo Club, Outdoor Concert or Your Backyard
Perfect for an outdoor dinner party, yellow roses are hung in metal cups from a chandelier.
This outdoor folding table is made of bamboo – easy to transport and is perfect for an evening at Chastain Amphitheater, Atlanta’s popular music venue. In Aiken, Polo is king, so we frequently entertain in the fields using durable melamine service ware.

Glamorous Bar Set-up
White on white is always a great way to create a clean, chic look. We layered silver containers with lots of glass and a crystal table lamp to ad a finishing touch. For a sultry feel…lots of candles are a must!
