Never heard of India Hicks?
We talked with Erin Haraway, an India Hicks ambassador, about all things I. H.
Here’s what she has to say:
When I came across the India Hicks brand, it really spoke to me…It’s a little bohemian chic with a dash of big city glam. Just like India herself! She has a unique story and an entrepreneurial spirit which I immediately understood and loved. My years in the magazine business gave me a keen eye for things that are new, adventurous and most of all exciting. I joined the brand this year for all those reasons and more — a new beginning with something extraordinary!
There are so many fabulous pieces in the collections, it’s truly difficult to pick out just a few of my favorite items! My newest love is the Madly Deeply Green Heritage bag. I love this bag for its sheer girth! It can fit four beach towels, toys and my five-year-old. Or bop around NYC carrying holiday gifts. It’s lined and ready to go, for sand or glitter…you decide!
My holiday season “must have” is the Carmen Clutch in red. So smooth and versatile….it holds all your holiday goodies with ease. Like many of the pieces in the collection, it comes with a story. By mistake, India’s mother was born in Barcelona, Spain. To celebrate this she was given the middle name Carmen, after a beautiful Spanish aristocrat who surprisingly ran off with a matador. Now that’s an adventure!
If there was ever a conversation piece, it is this necklace…
The Free Spirit necklace is my go-to when I want to feel glam in jeans and a t-shirt. I recently wore it to a party and it doubled as a nose tickler and a weapon of sorts. Don’t ask, but it was a fun party!
Here India looks unbelievably amazing just wearing it and a bathing suit. Thank goodness I am not going to the beach with her any time soon!
Though India makes several fantastic candles, I absolutely love the Black Hibiscus. I plan to give it as teacher and hostess gifts all thru the holiday season. If you’re a chic Ole Miss girl, “The Grove” is the candle to give. In Oxford, it’s best to buy them by the case!
This is a favorite of my daughters, Mackenzie & Lela Catherine.
Lela hides my bottle under her bed… Safe to say, both little ladies will get an English Rose Parfum rollerball in their stocking this Christmas!
Who doesn’t agree with Counting Your Lucky Stars?! I carry this clutch as a reminder – and give it to my sisters near and far.
Seriously, I could go-on-and-on about the products I love and why I love them, but you really need to see for yourself! I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the Atlanta Nandina Store on November 10th to celebrate the kick-off to the holiday season! Meet you there!
