Hot Trends at Spring Market
Twice a year Nandina travels to High Point, North Carolina for furniture market to purchase for the store, scope out the latest trends from our favorite suppliers and to search out new items. Here are my favorite Hot Trends from High Point!
PRETTY IN PINK
The color pink was everywhere! Soft delicate hues of pink to bold hot fuchsia. The hottest pink trend is upholstered furniture… in solid pink, textured pink, and pink geometric and floral patterns.

MIDCENTURY MODERN
Midcentury modern is defined as an architectural, interior, product and graphic design that generally describes mid-20th century developments in modern design, architecture and urban development from roughly 1933 to 1965. Below are a few of my favorite examples of this design aesthetic I found at Market. As you might remember, I’m particularly fond of bar carts.

GOLD
Gold is making a comeback in interior design and I’m excited about it! Don’t think of the shiny brass popular in the eighties. The gold that we’re now seeing is soft and sophisticated. The easiest way to introduce this Hot Trend into your décor is through lighting, accent tables and picture frames. BLUE & WHITE
Who doesn’t love the classic and crisp look of a blue and white room! This has inspired me to redecorate my guest bedroom in this wonderful color scheme. We also ordered a blue and white sofa and chair setting for the Aiken store from Norwalk.
