FEATURED: Nandina Honored at Atlanta’s AmericasMart this July!

One of the world’s largest and most highly recognized product markets is located right in Atlanta Georgia. The Atlanta AmericasMart is the nations # 1 product destination for home furnishings, gifts, rugs, and apparel. It connects the buyers (like Nandina) with top brands from around the world

As part of the major market events for the 2016 July Market, Americasmart in partnership with Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle and RestyleSource.com will feature a designers vignette gallery that focuses around the theme “Retail Meets Design”

Nandina Home & Design was selected as one of the Southeast’s top retailers and interior design firms to create a vignette for this special market event. For the first time two of our lead designers, Susan Victor from Aiken and John Ishmael from Atlanta will combine creative forces to develop a design for a 10 X 10 foot white box. As lead designers this pair also shares the dubious distinction of being siblings. The Nandina brother- sister team joins a celebrated group of of top retailers and designers from across the southeast : Tracery Interiors (Inlet Beach, Fla.), steve mckenzie’s (Atlanta, Ga.), Huff Harrington Home (Atlanta, Mathews Furniture + Design (Atlanta, Ga.) and The Iron Gate (Franklin, Tenn.) and FOUND by domestic bliss (Mesa, AZ).

Each designer will begin with a blank 10” x 10” vignette space and is charged with creating a space that reflects their personal design aesthetic and represents the intersection of retail and design. They are given access to the vast array of products from AmericasMart showrooms and exhibitors (1,400 unique showrooms, 4,000 temporaries and nearly 100 new and expanding showrooms this year)

“It is the first time John and I have gotten the opportunity to work together on such a creative and exciting project and we can’t wait to start sharing photos and videos of our space that we feel really reflects our brand of ‘Real Life, Real Style” stated Susan.

For the vignette Susan and John put together a multi-functional room design that many clients ask for. John explained,

“We want to showcase how a room can still have immense style while also function as an office, sitting room, and guest bedroom. We are using the office function as a base for our design, integrating a masculine, library feel, which will also look sophisticated as a sitting room and luxurious as a guest bedroom.”

Susan and John were recently featured on the popular design blog RestyleSource.com.

Below is a little teaser mood board of concepts for the space!
