Natural but Glamorous Lake House Project

Custom cabinetry and funky lighting fixtures reflect the natural with a bit glamor theme

When an Atlanta couple came to Nandina Home to design their lake house in Savannah Lake Village, their one criterion was to create a natural environment that mirrored the beauty of the lake, but still ad glamorous touches.  No rustic retreat for them.  Custom upholstery and finishes, original artwork and pretty-shiny lighting fixtures, achieved the effect and much more!  Below are some images of the magnificent house that was designed by Susan Victor for Nandina Home

Master Bed with custom bedding in grey and yellow from the Nandina Workroom

A stone wall creates a textured effect and a perfect backdrop for the custom wood sink stand and natural stone sink.

The landing includes original artwork, nature inspired sconces and a wooden frame work sideboard

One request was to have a guest room designed like the W Hotel. Here we created a custom tufted headboard with sconce areas which created a very calming room. Original artwork above the bed is our own designer/artist John Ishmael.

One of our favorite rooms, the back porch has shuttered windows on three sides which make the views of the lake magnificent! A palette of sunny yellow, black and white makes this room a bold addition.

We love the black and white striped drapes which were created in our workroom. It frames the beautiful sights of the lake activity.

With comfort in mind at this luxurious retreat, we even made the dog a bed!

One last look at the back of the house. All of the gorgeous stone work makes this house as much fun to entertain in as it is to live in!
